2. DPF cleaning
- At the request of car repair shops, we surveyed most of equipment in the companies reproducing the DPF. After analyzing the characteristics of the DPF, a conclusion was drawn that there would be no need for dedicated cleaning equipment.
- Sufficient cleaning is practicable8 simply with the cleaning jigs and some types of site know-how.
- It was supposed that someone would produce and supply inexpensive jigs, but regretably, the equipment was high-priced.
- Jig production is very simple and easy to be replicated, which led to the conclusion that it has no business feasibility.
B) Education equipment/materials
1. Simulator for education
- The general-purpose education material/equipment were developed and produced at the request of the HRD Korea.
- The business was discontinued amid the decline in profitability under the public procurement system.
- No product development plan has been set to date for publicly procured products.
2. Car simulator
- Engine simulator production began while operating the car repair shop as subsidiary.
- Direct production was discontinued due to the diminishing profitability under the public procurement system.
- Customized products were ordered to subcontractors, thereby constantly delivering the products to education institutions.
C) Car maintenance device distribution
1. Lift, balance detacher
- Operation of Heshbon Lift Agency for 15 years (logistics, installation, after-sales service distributor)
- Sale and after-sales service of detacher produced in China, Korea, and Europe
- Sale and after-sales service of the balance produced in China, Korea, and Europe
- Discontinuation of distribution of maintenance devices after 2015
3. Diagnosis device - Business discontinued
- Car Doctor diagnostic device (Jastec) Daejeon sales office – Supply to car repair shops, Kia, Daewoo, Ssangyong, Samsung
- Carnix diagnostic device (Jastec) Daejeon sales office – Supply to car repair shops, Daewoo, Ssangyong
- GIT HI – DS / GDS distributors in Daejeon and Chungcheong – Supply to car repair shops, Hyundai, Kia
- Discontinuation of diagnostic device business in 2017(discontinuation of distribution of maintenance devices other than the sale of tools)
- Removal of the hard and stuck carbon from car valves
- Cleaning the walnut crust powder, using the air compressive pressure and air spraying pressure
- Removal of hardened carbon without damage to valve, engine, head, etc.
- Import of many products from China and other countries, including the use of domestic products, were considered, but production began unavoidably.
- Vacuum cleaner and compressive sprayer integrated into single unit
- After production of about 100 units, the products underwent the site verification process for 2 years before full-fledged production started with improvement.
